Another militant was killed and another one was wounded in a separate clash in Ahmad Khel district of Paktia province, the 203rd Thunder Corps added.

Few months back, President Ghani ordered the country’s security forces to take offensive position against the various terrorist groups, conducting terrorist and destructive activities across the country.

However, the Afghan masses have been urging the US-led Coalition forces to expand its operational area and capacity to hit terrorists in their safe havens, existing in the hostile neighborhood of Afghanistan.

Despite Talks with Taliban, Experts of regional and security affairs are of the opinion that lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan and region would be a dream until terror havens across Pakistan were not eliminated.
